We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary arts. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Assist in serving dishes when necessary and support front-of-house staff during busy periods
Skills
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management
Supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Skilled in food preparation techniques across various cuisines
Experience in restaurant operations, including serving and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to plan menus and manage resources efficiently
