Fidela Coffee Roasters is an established coffee roastery and coffee bar on the North Coast of Ireland, based in Coleraine. With roots stretching back to coffee origin and an ethos rooted in transparency and quality, Fidela has been exporting green coffee since 2016 and opened our Coleraine roastery in March 2020.
We are seeking a Front of House team member to join our growing business. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality setting, enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences, and is excited about shaping the culture of our coffee shop. The successful candidate will also play a key role in shaping how our till and front-of-house systems operate.
Full time or part time, permanent - this role includes weekend work. If you are unable to work weekends, this role may not be suitable for you.
Pay/Salary
Pay is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
Interviews
Following a verbal interview, candidates will be invited for a practical trial shift to assess suitability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Provide a warm, welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact for customers
Operate the till with accuracy and efficiency
Contribute to the setup and improvement of till systems and front-of-house processes
Manage queue flow, takeaway orders and general service pace
Support baristas by ensuring service areas are clean, stocked and flowing smoothly
Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism
Restocking and daily cleaning of front-of-house areas
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent verbal communication and people skills
Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Able to work calmly under pressure and handle busy service periods
Team player who values a strong team culture
Computer literate

Additional Information
While the primary responsibilities of this role are customer-facing, the successful applicant will be expected to take initiative, adapt to changing needs, and contribute to the smooth running of the entire shop. Full training will be provided where necessary.
