We're looking for a reliable and organised manager to run day-to-day operations at our cafe and garden spa.
This is a practical, hands-on role that involves a mix of manual tasks (lighting sauna fires, maintaining water systems) and general management (staff scheduling, stock control, customer service). The job would suit someone who is an early riser, comfortable leading a team, and confident handling both physical and admin responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Garden Spa
Light and maintain wood-fired saunas
Test and treat water daily (including backwashes)
Check in guests and keep the space running smoothly
Order spa-related supplies
Maintain temperature logs and basic maintenance standards
Cafe
Order stock and manage inventory
Schedule and manage cafe staff
Oversee day-to-day service and customer experience
Liaise with management on seasonal promotions and staffing
Monitor sales and help improve daily operations

About You
Previous experience in cafe, hospitality or leisure management
Comfortable with early starts and manual work
Friendly, upbeat personality and a positive approach to work
Confident managing a small team and handling day-to-day issues
Good communicator and problem-solver
Organised, practical and able to stay calm under pressure
Basic IT skills for ordering, scheduling and reporting
Hours
Wednesday to Friday:
5:45am - 2:30pm
Saturday & Sunday:
6:45am - 2:30pm
20-minute unpaid break each day
Total hours/week:
40

Salary: 30,000-32,000 (based on experience)
28 days paid holiday per year (including bank holidays)
