We are looking for a passionate Cafe Host to join our team, you will work as part of a valued team working in our busy cafe, your main role will be showing customers to their tables, informing waiting customers on wait times and working closely with the Cafe Assistants to keep the cafe floor running smoothly and efficiently. Handling customer complaints and queries in a professional manner. This position is based on a

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Greeting and welcoming guests. Ensure customers with mobility or accessibility needs are guided to appropriate seating. Suitable knowledge of our menu and the food and drink we provide. Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. Providing a point of contact for customer feedback. Housekeeping of the Front of House area.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Good verbal and written English communication skills are essential. Good personal appearance and hygiene. Basic knowledge of food hygiene. Passionate about customer satisfaction. You must be flexible in terms of the working hours required of you. Good customer service skills Previous experience in a restaurant environment is beneficial but not a requirement.
