We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. The Cafe Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing all aspects of the cafe's functioning.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to foster a motivated team environment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Coordinate food production processes, including ordering supplies and managing inventory levels
Lead by example in serving customers and maintaining a hospitable atmosphere
Implement health and safety procedures across the premises
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures
Organise promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and increase sales
Handle customer feedback professionally to resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Experience in food safety standards and compliance regulations
Background in restaurant or hotel management is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
