Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day cafe operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality are maintained. Supervise and motivate staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate food production activities to meet customer demand efficiently. Implement and monitor health and safety procedures within the cafe, maintaining a safe working environment. Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee training programmes to ensure team competence. Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory control to minimise waste. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and equipment. Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a cafe setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques. Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff members. Experience in food production, serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
