Overview

Fullers Pasties is a small family run business based on the beautiful South Devon Harbour of Brixham.

We are seeking a Cafe Manager to work within our small experienced team and oversee daily operations within our busy cafe environment. The ideal candidate must have a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food preparation and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team and work within the team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Manage daily running of the Cafe (mostly takeaway, eat in and collection), opening/closing, ensure smooth flow between bakery production and service.

Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols

Experience in food production and kitchen operations is desirable

Familiarity with serving procedures and hospitality standards

Have excellent organisational skills and able to follow procedures

Barista experience is advantageous but not essential

Assist in Recruitment, provide training, keep staff fully motivated, and manage staff; resolve conflicts and build team morale.

Ensure outstanding service, build customer loyalty, handle complaints, and maintain high standards.

Cash up, order daily stock and stock take when necessary.

Assist with the production of new menu ideas, ensure quality control, and ensuring special orders are done correctly.

Enforce food safety standards, cleanliness, and manage waste on a daily basis.

Uphold the Cafe's standards in presentation, service, and overall ambiance

Passion for hospitality and food service. Ability to work calmly in demanding, high-stress times during the peak season. Experience in hospitality/food service and stable employment history. Flexibility for rota shifts (including weekends/early starts).

Pay: From 13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
