Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food service management. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading a team to deliver an outstanding cafe experience.

Duties

Supervise and manage cafe staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Food preparation and ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards and comply with food safety regulations. Train and mentor team members Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution. Collaborate with upper management to set goals for performance improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cafe operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-14.40 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
