We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant team and oversee daily operations within our bustling cafe environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, hospitality, and team management, ensuring exceptional service and high standards of food safety. Working Tuesday - Saturday 8:45am - 4pm , no evening work , off Sunday & Monday.
Responsibilities
Manage daily cafe operations, including overseeing food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
Supervise and motivate staff, providing leadership and guidance to foster a positive working environment.
Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimise efficiency.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
Oversee food production processes, including ordering supplies, stock control, and ensuring timely service.
Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Organise training programmes for staff on food safety, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices.
Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and assist with audits as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a cafe or similar environment.
Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or hotel environments is desirable.
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
