City of London, something special is brewing -- a beautiful, independent speciality coffee shop is looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead this busy, much-loved neighbourhood hub.

Early finishes: 4:30pm weekdays, 5pm weekends

The Role:
Maintain a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and a culture of excellence.
Lead a culture of continuous learning and development through regular feedback and performance appraisals.
Foster a customer-focused approach, ensuring visitors receive a memorable
experience.
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, if required.
Manage all aspects of the coffee shop's operations, including staffing, inventory, and finances.
General day-to-day administration, including development of the rota, managing annual leave, payroll, etc.
Liaise with external companies and contractors such as H&S and HR consultants, the landlord and the council as appropriate.
Oversee day-to-day social media and collaborate with our marketing department.

Knowledge of coffee industry trends and best practices.
Good working knowledge of food safety and hygiene compliance. A Level 3 Food Safety qualification is desirable.
Knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, enrolment and team management
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, employee scheduling, timesheet & time clock software, knowledge of G-Suite.
