We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within our vibrant cafe environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive experience in food preparation and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a busy establishment, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Cafe Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing the kitchen and service areas, and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily cafe operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure efficient service. Supervise and manage a team of staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive working environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises. Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee inventory control to minimise waste. Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimise productivity. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and resolving any issues promptly. Implement training programmes for new staff members to uphold service standards. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients are sourced timely. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the cafe at all times. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a cafe or similar setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques. Demonstrable supervising experience with team management capabilities. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff members. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour. Experience in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and inventory control. Familiarity with hospitality software or point-of-sale systems is advantageous. A passion for culinary arts combined with hospitality expertise enhances overall performance. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
