We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations within a bustling cafe environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of staff. Duties
Supervise and coordinate all cafe activities, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise.
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
Implement training programmes for staff to enhance skills in hospitality, food safety, and service delivery.
Handle customer feedback or complaints effectively to uphold the cafe's reputation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a cafe setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Demonstrable supervising experience with team management capabilities.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.
Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
