Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and customer service excellence. Manage inventory levels and assist in food production planning to meet customer demand. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with management to implement new strategies for improving service quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace. Kitchen training

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management. Background in restaurant or hospitality environments is essential. Culinary experience preferred, with knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality. Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen equipment operation is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus for establishments that serve coffee or beverages.
