Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Supervisor to join our team at The Pavilion, situated at the end of Bangor pier.
Candidate must be sociable, and thrive for high levels of customer satisfaction, supervisor/managerial experience in a cafe or as a barista is essential for this role.
Candidate must be 18+ due to lone working during quiet periods.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe Opening up and closing down, ensuring the cafe is secure at all times Ensure the cafe is clean and tidy at all times, keeping records up to date to continue our 5 food hygiene rating
Communicate with other managers in the group Willingness to attend training as appropriate, including Basic Food Hygiene, Health & Safety training and refresher training as appropriate. Barista Training to be on going, including the development of team members and refresher training as products develop. Cash handling, cashing up at the end of the day To manage the ordering of food items, beverages and cleaning products Maintain adequate stock levels of cakes, paninis, drink and disposables
Requirements and skills
Barista and management skills are essential Excellent customer service skills Availability to work within opening hours, times very depending on season (including weekends and holidays) Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
This role is full-time based on an average of 45 hours a week.
