Job Title: Cafe Supervisor

Location: The Yeti Cafe - Dundonald Ice Bowl

Employment Type: Full Time

Reports to: General Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great coffee and food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of the cafe to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction Meet brand standards for 'we proudly serve' Starbucks coffee dock, currently between 96% - 100% Lead and support front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of professionalism and teamwork Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the cafe Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and deliveries Ensure all food and drink preparation complies with health and safety standards as we have recently received a 5 star rating Open and close the cafe as required, including cash handling and reconciling daily takings Support management in achieving sales targets and implementing promotional activities

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment (supervisory experience preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure Basic barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation (training can be provided) Good organizational skills and attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Basic computer and POS system literacy
