We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. Duties

Oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Manage and supervise cafe staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent customer service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences while managing food production efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality food presentation. Implement strategies to improve cafe performance and profitability.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisor un role within the restaurant or cafe industry is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in hospitality settings, including hotels or cafes, is highly desirable. Barista experience is an advantage, particularly in crafting specialty coffee beverages. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
