We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, food preparation, and team management to contribute to a vibrant cafe environment.

Duties



Manage all aspects of cafe/bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial administration. Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality standards are met. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally. Organise training programmes for staff on food safety, service standards, and operational procedures. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to optimise revenue. Handle customer feedback effectively to enhance overall satisfaction. Manage sales in our art gallery and work with the Gallery Curator

Skills



Proven experience in supervising or managing a cafe, restaurant, bar or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel hospitality is highly desirable. Barista experience or serving background is advantageous. Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure. Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic professional eager to lead a vibrant cafe /bar team while delivering outstanding service and quality products in a welcoming atmosphere.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
