Job Overview

We're looking for an

experienced, customer-focused individual

to join our team and help deliver exceptional service across our

cafe and events operations

. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, enjoy interacting with the public, and have a keen eye for detail in both hospitality and event delivery.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service. Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items. Ensure all guests have a positive experience and resolve any issues promptly and politely. Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks Keep work areas, counters, and customer seating areas clean and tidy at all times. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with setup before opening / end-of-day cleaning, restocking, and closing procedures. Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in hospitality or events is advantageous but not essential. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests while developing your skills in a dynamic environment!

Events Support

Support the setup, delivery, and breakdown of events (including private parties, Weddings, Christmas parties etc) Work closely with the Events team to ensure smooth service during functions. Assist with bar service, catering, and guest coordination where required. Ensure event areas are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.

About You

Experience:

At least 1-2 years in a cafe, bar, or hospitality setting; events experience a strong advantage.

Skills:

Confident in customer service, food handling, and working under pressure.

Attitude:

Friendly, reliable, and proactive with a genuine passion for hospitality and community engagement.

Flexibility:

Able to work weekends, evenings, and the Christmas period.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
