Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients Cook and prepare meals according to specified recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in line with food safety regulations Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately Support the team during service times by serving meals and attending to customer needs Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen work is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous but not essential Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different roles within the kitchen environment
