We are a family run chocolate shop and factory in Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire. Since 1911, The Secret Truffletier have been Master Manufacturers of Swiss Chocolate Gifts. With over a century of passion and experience we ensure excellent customer service and high quality products using only the very finest Swiss chocolate.
Hours of work
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 8.45am to 5.15pm
Overtime during busy seasons (in the run up to Christmas and Easter), and holiday cover
Pay:
depending on experience. Pro rata 28 days annual includes bank holidays and 50% staff discount.
Skills required
Must be presentable and a strong communicator
Excellent customer service skills
Must have good spoken and written English
Retail or food service experience is preferable but not essential
Positive and motivational attitude
Team player - Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask
Good attention to detail and organised
Must have high standards of cleanliness
A passion for good quality chocolate!
Daily Retail Responsibilities
Serving in the coffee shop and clearing tables
Running Experience bookings.
Greeting & engaging with customers' questions and queries
Picking, Packing and sending of online orders.
Managing stock, including stock rotation and stocktaking
Contribute to ensuring Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Standards are upheld in this area by all team members
Creating inspiring shop and cafe display of products.
