Job Summary

As a Cafe/Shop Assistant, you'll be the face of TOAST - welcoming customers, preparing quality food and drinks, and keeping our space clean, vibrant, and inviting. If you're passionate about cafe culture, enjoy engaging with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet all customers and take orders with accuracy and efficiency Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, light meals, and snacks to cafe standards Maintain a clean and organised cafe/shop area, including counters, tables, and equipment Assist with restocking shelves and supplies in both the cafe and retail areas Handle cash and card transactions accurately in both the cafe and shop Provide menu guidance and product information to customers Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld at all times Collaborate closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during peak hours

What We're Looking For

Experience in a cafe, retail, or hospitality setting is a plus, but not essential Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner A genuine passion for great customer service and quality food/drink Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
