A unique and exciting opportunity to join Micro Precision, the Global leader for calibration, repair and test equipment solutions as they expand their International business in the UK.

Micro Precision are looking for a Calibration Technician to join their diverse and dynamic team at their new Laboratory in Peasmarsh, Guildford.



The Calibration Technician is responsible for maintaining, testing and calibrating a variety of instrumentation and equipment. Ensuring that all instruments and test devices are calibrated correctly and performing accurate readings whilst complying with Micro Precisions Quality management systems, Calibration systems and internal procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for calibrating a variety of test instruments including:

Electrical & RF Equipment. Optical Equipment. Dimensional Equipment. Mechanical Equipment. Temperature Equipment.

Requirements



Previous experience working in calibration environment. A self-motivated individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates high level of attention to detail and time-management skills. Confidentiality and impartiality. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Practical understanding of ISO17025 or UKAS requirements preferable. Valid Driver's License as the role may require travel for field service work. Occasional overnight stays may form part of this role for offsite work. Operate and adhere to procedures, policies and compliance with accredited bodies and internal quality systems whilst monitoring a controlled working environment.

Salary



Negotiable dependent on skill level.
