Role Overview:



We are looking for a skilled and passionate

Calisthenics Gymnastics Coach

to join our coaching team. This role involves teaching dynamic bodyweight strength and skill-based training rooted in gymnastics and calisthenics principles. You'll lead classes that help both beginners and advanced movers develop body control, mobility, strength, and confidence.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in calisthenics, gymnastics, acro, or functional movement, who enjoys working with diverse age groups and thrives in a creative, high-energy setting.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead engaging, structured calisthenics/gymnastics sessions for children, teens, and adults Teach skills such as handstands, levers, planches, pull-ups, muscle-ups, and mobility drills Focus on proper technique, progressive skill development, and injury prevention Adapt coaching methods to suit various ages and experience levels Provide effective demonstrations, spotting, and technical feedback Foster a motivating and inclusive atmosphere in every class Support choreography or performance elements where applicable Maintain a clean, safe training environment in line with club policies

Requirements:



Proven experience in calisthenics, gymnastics, acro, or bodyweight strength training Prior coaching experience in group or individual settings Strong ability to teach and break down skills for different learning levels Excellent communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills Positive and professional attitude toward athletes and families First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) if working with minors

Preferred Qualifications:



Coaching certification in Gymnastics, Calisthenics, Acro, or Functional Fitness (e.g. UKCC, GMB, FIG, etc.) Experience coaching both children and adults Choreography or performance coaching experience Knowledge of mobility, injury prevention, and strength programming
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.00-30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
