Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)
Shift patterns: Saturday & Sunday - 16hrs per week
Location: Leicester (LE19 4AT) DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Call Centre Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? Role Purpose:
- The Helpdesk Operator is responsible for receiving calls from Drivers, Next departments and Next customers regarding operational and customer enquiries.
- Receive incoming calls from home delivery crews, to advise them of operational problems. Question the crews to ensure the potential impact on customers and the likely recovery time is fully understood.
- The successful candidate will be liaising with the delivery crews assisting them in any query that may arise whilst they deliver product.
- They will also liaise with customers advising of any delivery issues. Confirming all failed deliveries ensuring that the delivery failure rate is within the contractual agreement.
- Assisting with the compiling of various management and KPI reports
- 1-2 years experience within an Administrative role - desirable
- 1 year experience within a customer facing role - desirable
- Computer literate - essential
- Communication skills - verbal & written - essential
- Ability to follow work procedures - essential
- Influencing skills - essential
- High school (secondary) education
