. This role is ideal for someone experienced in sound recording for film, television, or other media productions. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality audio by efficiently operating the boom pole during filming.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the boom pole to capture clear and high-quality audio on set.
Accurately position and adjust the boom microphone as needed.
Monitor background noise and adapt positioning to maintain sound clarity.
Collaborate closely with the sound department and crew to meet audio requirements.
Follow direction from the sound mixer and director for optimal audio capture.
Maintain professionalism and ensure a smooth workflow on set.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating a boom pole or similar equipment on film or TV sets.
Solid understanding of audio quality and techniques for capturing clear sound.
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to meet strict filming schedules.
