The post holder will provide a clinical psychology service to clients within the Greenwich Adolescent team providing highly specialist psychological assessment, intervention and treatment. The multi-disciplinary team works within an Adaptive Mentalization based Integrative Treatment (AMBIT) framework providing a team approach for working with the client, the team, the family and professional networks. This approach supports the work of the team with young people who present with a range of complex mental health needs. The post holder will provide supervision to trainee clinical psychologists and assistant psychologists, as well as offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care across a range of disciplines. There will be opportunities to develop leadership skills and lead on service development.
The post-holder will be part of a large psychology team. We offer excellent support, supervision, and opportunities for CPD. There are established links with psychology across the three Oxleas boroughs with joint psychology CPD events. There will be opportunities for individual training, for example MBT-A, EMDR and CFT.

The post holder will hold a key role as a psychologist within a strong, friendly psychology discipline, and working within an MDT. There are opportunities for supervision of Trainee Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists as well as providing consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues. There are opportunities for service development and quality improvement work, as well as the development of leadership skills.
The post holder will provide evidence based specialist psychological assessment, formulation and therapeutic interventions for young people and families accessing the service.
The service is underpinned by CYP IAPT principles and the successful candidate will support and assist the core aims of this in the service. This can involve exciting and creative participation work, training opportunities and service development.

Providing a clinical psychology service to clients of the Greenwich CAMHS Adolescent Team, providing highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention.
Offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non professional carers and providing supervision to clinical psychologists/psychological therapists and trainees.
Providing initial assessment and care coordination for a defined number of young people whose care is provided by the Adolescent Team.
Offering supervision to more junior staff.
Working autonomously within professional guidelines, consistent with CYP-IAPT principles and within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to overall service delivery as required.
Utilising research skills to lead on audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
