Do you want to make a difference? Do you have a 'can do' attitude, enthusiastic, motivated, and ready for a challenge? Do you possess excellent communication and organisational skills? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Bradford's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Bradford District Care Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the trust as a mental health practitioner within Children Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We are looking to recruit experienced band 6 practitioners (nurses, social workers, occupational therapists) into CAMHS.
The role will consist of completing assessments of mental heath need. Assessments can cover a variety of presentations and take place in different settings. Assessments will be delivered in a clinic setting as well as within the community. There is a need for assessments to take place in ward settings to support young people back into the community.
As a mental health practitioner, you will need to be able to assess risk and use this to inform decision making for children and young people. We support children and young people with moderate to severe mental health presentations in the community. We work with risk in the community to prevent hospital admission where possible and manage crisis when needed.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for mental health practitioner to join a well-established, dedicated, and friendly children and young people's core CAMHS service across Bradford, Aire Wharfe Craven CAMHS.
