This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and dynamic CAMHS Early Intervention, Prevention, and Promotion Service (EIPPS) in Gwynedd and Mon. We welcome applications from dedicated and compassionate individuals interested in becoming part of our team. The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification that meets the eligibility criteria defined by the Mental Health Measure 2010 (e.g., RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, etc.).



We are looking to recruit a full-time Band 6 EIPPS Practitioner to join the existing CAMHS Early Intervention, Prevention, and Promotion team. The role is based at Penrallt Caernarfon, with an expectation to provide services across the BCUHB West region, primarily focusing on Anglesey.



This role involves supporting community-based frontline professionals who work with children, young people, and families facing concerns related to mental health and well-being. It is a diverse and rewarding position, primarily within the CAMHS EIPPS team, which provides evidence-based specialist consultations to professionals and the broader system. The team also offers training sessions, events, group work, and early advice to schools and the wider community. The goal is to build the skills and capacity of others to effectively respond to the emerging emotional and mental health needs of children and young people.



The CAMHS EIPS team deliver:

consultation, training, group work and early advice to the school community in order to build capability and capacity in others to respond to the child or young persons emerging emotional and mental health needs. These elements of the role are driven by the principles highlighted in the NEST framework (mental health and wellbeing) | GOV.WALES . Additionally, partnership working is key to this role and includes collaborating with learners, teachers, parents/carers, additional learning staff and professionals from the multi-agency; as defined by Framework on embedding a whole-school approach to emotional and mental wellbeing | GOV.WALES



The ability to speak welsh and travel across the two counties is essential for the service.
