Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist within our Child and Adolescent mental Health Service in West CAMHS based in King's Lynn.



We work with children, young people (0-14 years) and their families, with the principal objectives of providing consultation, training, mental health assessment and short-term therapeutic interventions.

Whilst experience working with children and young people would make you perfectly suited to this role, we are really open to welcoming people from clinical backgrounds who have experience in other areas of mental health. We understand that you will be able to bring with you a wealth of skills and experience to the team.



We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse who can provide assessment and goal-focussed, evidence-based interventions to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. The post holder will be required to offer mental health assessments and be part of the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response, in addition to having their own caseload.



You should have experience of risk assessment, an understanding of formulation and the ability to work collaboratively with young people and their families.



The successful candidate will work within the Multi-disciplinary team which includes Psychology, Psychotherapy, Social Work and Mental Health Nursing. We collaborate with colleagues from health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to ensure the most holistic approach to care for our service users.
