Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Camp Crew Members to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a Camp Crew Member, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will lead and assist with daily activities, support campers in their personal growth, and contribute to a memorable camp experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in recreational, educational, and creative camp activities (e.g., arts and crafts, sports, nature walks, games). Actively engage with campers to build rapport, encourage participation, and promote a positive group dynamic. Monitor camper behaviour to ensure their physical and emotional safety at all times. Support campers in following camp rules and routines, using positive reinforcement and guidance. Assist with the setup and cleanup of activities, meals, and events. Collaborate with other crew members and camp leadership to ensure smooth daily operations. Report any concerns or incidents to the Camp Coordinator promptly. Model respectful and inclusive behaviour for all campers.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching, youth programs) is preferred. Energetic, positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors and be physically active throughout the day. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain before camp begins).

Schedule:

Monday 28th July - Friday 29th August - October dates TBC Must be available for staff orientation and training prior to the start of camp.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
