Job Summary


We are looking for a friendly, experienced Camp Practitioner to support children at our Winter Holiday Club including those with special needs. You will work with children aged

5-15 years

, helping to create a

safe, fun, and inclusive environment

. This role involves supporting children through

structured activities, play, and engagement

, as well as leading

sports and art sessions independently

. Ideally, candidates will have a

current DBS certificate

.

Responsibilities



Support all children during holiday club activities Use autism-informed strategies to encourage engagement and self-regulation for children with additional needs Promote positive behavior, communication, and inclusion for all children Collaborate closely with the holiday club team and families Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all children at all times Facilitate sports sessions and outdoor play activities Lead arts and craft sessions Support children during mealtimes and encourage responsibility and tidiness

Skills & Qualifications:



Experience working with autistic children Understanding of autism and sensory needs Patient, reliable, and caring approach Relevant qualifications or training in childcare or special needs support preferred Current DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 8 days

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
