A great opportunity has risen for a Campaign Assistant to assist in our national campaign on air quality at an exciting time as the UK enters a general election period. You will help us influence political parties and mobilise voters to take action on clean air. Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe clean air with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment. Reporting to the Senior Policy + Public Affairs Officer, you will be assisting with the delivery of our national political influencing strategy through drafting correspondence, preparing briefings and communicating with politicians at national and local authority level. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also help support the work of the national clean air team through mobilising digital campaigners, organising events, and horizon scanning the clean air policy landscape. You will have a keen interest in political and environmental campaigns, excellent written and verbal communication and organisation skills. You will also have the ability to work within the clean air team and wider policy team to help deliver the project. One of our strategic aims is to tackle health inequalities, particularly around health outcomes for people from minority ethnic groups, and so we\'d therefore particularly welcome applications from people from those backgrounds.
