As a Campaigns Manager, you will join the Barclays Group Campaigns team where you will develop and execute the end-to-end integrated campaigns to support the delivery of Barclays UK Narrative, and to draft a range of communications materials suitable for a range of channels and audiences.
Key Accountabilities
Work as a proactive member of the integrated Barclays Campaigns team, to plan and deliver a broad range of communications activity across PR, digital and social channels
Create a suite of materials as part of campaign development and execution, including research, press releases, thought leadership, social content, website copy and more
Source and analyse proprietary and research data to produce topical and timely content
Identify strategic opportunities to showcase Barclays insights/raise profile of Barclays spokespeople
Align with channel owners across the Bank including Marketing, Policy and Employee Communications to increase reach and impact of activity
Build and foster key journalist relationships to improve awareness and consideration of activity
Manage external agency partners, maintaining accountability for budgets and campaign delivery
Evaluate and measure results, applying learnings to refine and improve future performance
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Expert in media relations, with strong journalist relationships across national and vertical press
Ability to draft research and review and analyse data to create compelling content
Ability to draft a wide range of communications materials, especially those for journalists - to suit different channels and audiences
Strong understanding of personal finance and the UK economic landscape
Desirable Skills
Sound understanding of social media channels and ability to advise on content amplification approach
Ability to project manage complex campaign budgets and identify efficiency savings
Experience in managing project teams ensuring resource is used effectively
Experience in reputation risk and issues management
Experience in data visualisation/bringing data "to life"
