Job Summary

The Camping Site Warden in Christchurch is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and overall well-being of campers and visitors at the site. This role involves monitoring activities, maintaining order, and providing assistance as needed to enhance the camping experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Duties

Assist campers with inquiries and provide information about facilities and local attractions. Conduct guest checkins and out Conduct regular surveillance of the camping site to ensure safety and security. Monitor camper activities and enforce site rules and regulations. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Report any suspicious behaviour or potential hazards to management. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of communal areas within the camping site.

The position can continue up until 8th September. During this period we can be flexible but it is expected that you will need to conduct between 20 - 35 hours.

Hours will range across the week but it is expected that you will be onsite during the busiest times from Tuesday to Sunday.

Site Wardens can stay onsite if required, if you are not able to do so you will need to live close by and be on call during the evenings should guests have any problems to deal with.
