We are looking for a project manager to join the Cancer Services team to build capacity and establish a standardised cancer workforce
structure within North Cumbria.
The post holder will lead the planning, development and delivery of strategic workforce initiatives that support the transformation of cancer services across North Cumbria
The post holder will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to implement workforce development plans, improve capacity and capability and ensure alignment with national strategies and workforce frameworks such as ACCEND.
Lead the delivery of a standardised cancer workforce project across North Cumbria.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, risks, and outcomes are clearly reported.
Support workforce data analysis for future workforce planning.
Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with ICB/Trust/Alliance cancer workforce priorities.
Produce regular project reports, updates, and presentations for senior management.
Support the development of new roles (e.g., ACPs, cancer support workers) and career progression pathways within cancer services.
