The Meopham Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time qualified and experienced hydrotherapist to join the team. Candidates must hold at least a Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and have previous experience with a range of cases including orthopaedic and neurological conditions.
We see referrals from surrounding practices as well as our own patients giving a varied case load.
The right candidate must be driven to give the best care possible, to work well in a team and also by themselves, have a passion for animal rehabilitation and exceptional customer service skills.
This is a part time role, Monday, Tuesday and Friday with no weekend work.
Pay will be dependant on experience
Duties
Conduct hydrotherapy sessions for dogs, tailoring treatments to individual needs.
Monitor and assess each dog's progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the hydrotherapy area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's treatment plans and progress.
Assist with heavy lifting of dogs as needed during sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Collaborate with veterinarians and other animal care professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
Requirements
Strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners and address their concerns effectively.
A genuine passion for animal welfare and rehabilitation, with an eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
