About the Role
This role is offered on an hourly paid basis.
As a Canteen Assistant you will support the smooth and efficient operation of the College canteen, ensuring a high standard of food preparation, service, and hygiene. The role contributes to creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for learners, staff, and visitors, in line with the College's values. You will be required to:

• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of hot and cold food and beverages.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions in line with College financial procedures.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all food preparation, serving, and dining areas.

• Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in customer service, food and hygiene.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Experience in a similar -based role is desirable
