Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join Euro Foods Group. You will be providing breakfast and lunch services for our production facility and office based staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, ideally Bangladeshi and South Asian, as well as the ability to create new menu items while working with management.
Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely. Create a fully costed menu, ideally with an South Asian / Bangladeshi theme, for the provision of breakfast and lunch. Ensure the canteen is achieving sales targets to ensure ongoing operation.
Skills
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in supervising kitchen operations is highly desirable. Level 3 Food Safety
Schedule
Monday to Friday 0700am-1500pm. 28 days holiday incl. bank holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
