As a

Capital Deployment Analyst

, you'll be part of the Portfolio Management team, working alongside colleagues from all over the world. The Portfolio Management team is primarily based in Amsterdam and some team members are working from London. You'll report to the Capital Deployment Manager based in London, as we build on our pan-European portfolio and consolidate our position as the market leader in last mile real estate. Although the position is located in London, we are open to hiring candidates based in Amsterdam.



As a member of Capital Deployment, you will be part of the core team, coordinating with senior stakeholders, Asset Management teams and external providers. You understand the commercial dynamics of the portfolio and are able to produce comprehensive commercial analysis. You also bring experience in engaging third party providers to manage due diligence and valuation processes. With a strong commercial market and real estate knowledge, you act as a sparring partner and strategic advisor to stakeholders within the business.

What you'll do




Prepare commercial analysis and high-quality outputs for senior internal and external stakeholders (shareholder, lenders, advisors, and management) Support capital market initiatives by driving Due Diligence and valuations workstreams. This involves coordinating with external providers and Mileway Asset Management teams, manage Q&A processes and provide strategic portfolio insights to lenders and other stakeholders Work with various internal Mileway teams to gather data and provide strategic portfolio insights in a consistent manner to senior stakeholders and to satisfy lender requirements Demonstrating strong commercial asset and market knowledge, you will be able to identify market trends, which form a key driver of valuations and asset management initiatives Analyze and discuss valuation outcomes. You are able to identify key valuation drivers and give directions to valuers supported by market evidence, where needed. Build relationships across departments and with external stakeholders to make sure we're effectively and timely managing capital deployment initiatives Work with the Asset Management teams to identify specific asset and portfolio-level risks and opportunities, and advise on asset business plans based on your findings



What you'll bring




3-5 years of experience in a relevant area, ideally in asset management, property advisory, financial services with a strong commercial mindset and understanding of real estate dynamics Experience with property valuation and having an understanding of key valuation metrics and value drivers A strong academic background (Bachelor or Master's degree ) in a relevant area, for example in Real Estate studies or Finance Superb communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate with and report to various internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and time-sensitive requests at the same time and skillful in prioritizing tasks. Strong attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills and ability to work with complex and big data sets (Excel). Your head for data means you can digitize and track new information and take it all in stride Superb interpersonal skills. You're a team player who thrives in our fast-paced environment and can juggle priorities effectively. You have a knack for building relationships across all areas within a fast-paced environment Outstanding command of English. Additional language skills are a plus RICS and/or CAIA qualifications will be a bonus
