We are seeking a reliable and skilled Drivers to join our City Auction Team. The ideal candidate will be moving cars through a Car Auction and between sites in and around Peterborough. This is a Zero hour/flexible contract so flexibility is paramount with this role.

Duties

Job Overview:

As a Drive-Through Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving vehicles through our auction lanes while they are being sold. You'll be the person who showcases vehicles to potential buyers during the live auction process, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to an efficient sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive vehicles of various makes, models, and conditions through the auction lanes Position vehicles correctly for viewing by bidders Maintain the flow of vehicles according to auction schedules Perform basic pre-drive checks to ensure vehicles are auction-ready Report any vehicle issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel Follow all safety procedures and auction protocols Assist with vehicle marshalling and organization in the yard when required Maintain excellent awareness of surroundings in a busy environment
Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) Minimum 2 years driving experience Confident driving various vehicle types including manual and automatic transmissions Ability to quickly adapt to different vehicle controls and characteristics Good attention to detail and awareness of surroundings Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and functions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management skills Strong communication abilities Flexible availability on auction days

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
