About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced

Car Buyer

to take full ownership of our vehicle acquisition process. This is a vital role within the business -- you will ensure stock levels are maintained, vehicles are purchased in line with our stock profile, and profit and days-in-stock targets are met.

You'll manage the full journey from purchase through to forecourt readiness, overseeing logistics, vehicle prep, photography, and videography. This allows our sales team to focus purely on what they do best: selling.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and purchase stock to meet company requirements and targets Maintain profitability while keeping within designated days-in-stock limits Ensure all purchased vehicles are prepared, photographed, and ready for sale efficiently Oversee vehicle collections, logistics, and preparation processes Work closely with our sales team to align stock with customer demand and preferences

Requirements:

Proven experience in the motor trade industry -- buying experience essential Strong understanding of stock management, vehicle prep, and retail trends Commercially minded with a focus on profitability and efficiency Organised, proactive, and capable of working independently Full UK driving licence

Pay: 25,740.00-45,326.47 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
