Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections. Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs. Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all tools are maintained in good working order. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Interpret technical manuals to understand vehicle systems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs. Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with minimum 5 years experience in automotive repair. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to interpret technical documentation effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Capability to maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety standards. Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance and repair.
