We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and finishes. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and exteriors. Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of tools and equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the preparation and application processes. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
