Role Overview

The Valeter / Handyman will be primarily responsible for the cleaning, preparation, and presentation of vehicles, while also supporting with site maintenance and general duties. This varied role requires attention to detail, pride in your work, and flexibility to help across different areas of the business when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out full valets on vehicles including exterior wash, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing, and interior detailing. Prepare vehicles for customer handover and showroom display to a professional standard. Assist with service washes to support the workshop and Aftersales team. Maintain valeting equipment and supplies, ensuring safe and efficient use. Conduct general site maintenance tasks (e.g., small repairs, painting, tidying, basic upkeep). Move vehicles between sites or deliver vehicles to customers as required. Keep forecourt and display areas clean, tidy, and well-presented. Adhere to all health & safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in valeting or a similar cleaning/vehicle preparation role preferred. Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation standards. Full UK driving licence (essential). Ability to work with both manual and automatic vehicles. Flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to help across different duties. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
