Job Description

John Mulholland Motors seeks to recruit a Valeter / Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our long established cleaning team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for meticulous attention to detail.

Duties will include:

Cleaning and preparing new and used vehicles for retail presentation and delivery to customers Checking car deliveries in, identifying any abnormalities or damage and reporting to management in a timely manner Attending to minor blemishes and imperfections on vehicles both externally and internally using specified materials solvents and equipment To uphold display standards of cars on site both inside and outside the showroom To deliver or collect vehicles and undertake sundry errands to include trips to MOT centres or product placement for example To enhance the reputation of the dealership at every opportunity when interacting with others

Personal Requirements

Applicants must:

Have experience in a commercial car cleaning environment, preferably showroom Have meticulous attention to detail Have experience in the use of machine polishing Have the ability to work in an ever-changing environment and display a willingness to help and contribute to a team environment Be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner Have excellent time keeping Hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence Work within Health and Safety Guidelines
Working hours: 08:30-17:00, flexibility can be considered. Weekend work available. Other duties such as attending off site displays may also be required.
