We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join us as a Valeter at our Accident Repair Centre in Worcester.

ROLE TITLE:

Valeter

REPORTING TO:

Bodyshop Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To clean cars to a standard that reinforces the customers' feeling that they have received first-class service.

MAIN TASKS

Wash, vacuum, clean and polish all cars using the approved materials and equipment to present the vehicles to the customer in accordance with company standards. Carry out overall presentation checks and cleanliness of the repaired vehicle. Be aware of and adhere to any health and safety policies and procedures that apply to the work area, particularly in connection with the chemicals, fluids and cleaning agents used in the cleaning process. Keep the car park always tidy. Liaise with reception to ensure courtesy cars are cleaned and checked out ready for collection by the customer.

TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE

The level and scope of technical knowledge will be discussed and agreed upon with your manager or team leader.

OTHER DUTIES

Due to the size and complexity of the establishment, you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager of the group with whom you have a reporting relationship

OTHER

The ideal candidate will hold a full, valid driving licence.

A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.

Hours are 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
