Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy person to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in general maintenance and repair work, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

The Ideal candidate will have experience in wall papering.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance checks on buildings and equipment Perform minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work Assemble furniture and fixtures as required Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetics Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or management Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order Keep work areas clean and organised at all times Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a team A valid driving licence may be required for travel between sites
