About the Role

Are you a commercially minded professional with a passion for hospitality, leisure, and customer service excellence? Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a dynamic Caravan Site Supervisor to lead the operational and commercial development of the award-winning Waleswood Caravan & Camping Park, located in the scenic Rother Valley Country Park.



This is a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership with strategic commercial growth. You'll be at the forefront of enhancing guest experiences, driving income generation, and ensuring the continued success of a 5 Pennant Gold AA-accredited site.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in leisure, hospitality, or tourism facility management. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of developing and managing retail or catering outlets. Excellent leadership and team supervision skills. Experience in customer-focused environments, including cash handling and financial reporting. Ability to analyse performance data and contribute to strategic planning. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

Level 5 or 6 qualification (e.g., Deplomas of HE and FE, degrees and HNDs) or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Level 2 Food Hygiene and Personal Licence Holder qualifications (or willingness to achieve). First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to achieve). Basic DBS check required. Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends and holidays. A valid driving licence and ability to travel across the borough.
