Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled static Caravan Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the relevant field. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of caravans to various locations nationwide, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards.

Duties

Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Load and unload caravans as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Nights out away from base most of the week. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks as necessary.
