We are currently seeking a
motivated and experienced Manager
to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation.
Position Summary
The
Manager
will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring exceptional care standards, staff performance, and full regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience within the care or healthcare sector, and a genuine passion for delivering person-centred care.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management
Lead, recruit, train, and supervise care staff to maintain a high-performing team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching, support, and mentorship.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Develop, review, and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient service delivery.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve cost-efficient operations.
Monitor compliance with CQC standards and all relevant healthcare regulations.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to deliver holistic care solutions.
Client Care
Ensure the highest standards of client care and satisfaction.
Handle client feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families.
Conduct regular assessments and reviews of client needs, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Quality Assurance
Implement and maintain a robust quality assurance programme.
Carry out regular audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with policies and standards.
Use data, reports, and client feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
Prepare detailed reports on performance, outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of
5 years' experience
in a managerial role within healthcare, domiciliary care, or social care services.
Demonstrated success in leading care teams and managing service delivery operations.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and operational management.
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and make sound decisions under pressure.
IT literacy and familiarity with care management software (e.g., OnCare).
Additional Requirements
Valid UK driver's licence and reliable transport.
Clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
